How Much Is My Face Worth?
Today I’m doing a tag! I don’t believe I’ve done one of these before on my blog but the sweet Shireen over at Reflection of Sanity (say hello here) suggested I do it, so I thought, why the heck not. Should be fun! The thought has never crossed my mind about how much is my daily face worth and since I’ve enjoyed reading Shireen’s tag (here), I started wondering how much makeup do I smear on my face on a regular basis? So basically, this post aims to calculate a combined worth of all the makeup I have on my face on any given day. For a makeup junkie like myself, this tag is a complete delight. So for this tag, I gathered some of the more expensive makeup so the result may be a little outrageous. These are also favorites that I love!
Firstly, I would like to point out that I like using two primers because I’m on the dry side. The Clarins Beauty Balm is great at priming and blurring my pores and also acts as extra hydration for me since I have dry/combination skin. I will then go in with another primer like the MJ Coconut Primer for that flawless long-lasting coverage which also nourishes and hydrates my skin. I also usually don’t do much when it comes to my lips so I always either throw on just a lipstick or a lip-gloss as most times, I don’t bother with a lip liner (#lazygirlproblems). Question of the day: Why is it as makeup hoarders we add so many things to our routine as time goes on? Now let’s get into the products, shall we?

So that’s how much my face is worth! I must say this is a bit shameful but I should also note that makeup is a heck of a LOT expensive in Canada (*insert very sad face here*). Why Why Oh Why? Additionally, on many days, I do use affordable, drugstore products alone or in combination with higher end products. Also as Shireen noted in her post, in reality, this is not that much because I will use each product for at least six months to a year or more so it should really be divided by the amount of times used and how much amount used each time. Anyways, this was fun! Thanks Shireen! I really enjoyed doing this.
So now it’s your turn, how much is your face worth?
