L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray Review

L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray Review

I happened to be browsing the isle at my local Walmart a few days ago when I stumbled upon the new L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray.

L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray is a new oil free makeup setting spray. This is the first drugstore makeup setting spray and I am pretty excited.  This is marketed as a makeup extender and not a mattifyer or anything that is going to add a glow to the skin. It is simply going to make your makeup last a lot longer.

Packaging: The setting spray comes in a nice sleek black rubberized bottle that can get dirty pretty easily.

It has a micro-fine mist texture that is going to set your makeup – this is meant to be used post makeup. The directions say to shake well, hold 8 to 10 inches away from your face, and spray on your face in an ‘X’ and ‘T’ motion. I personally never do the ‘X’ and ‘T’ motion.

I would say this is comparable to Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (which is my favorite setting spray), in my opinion. A bit of an insight, L’Oreal owns Urban Decay, however, the ingredients list on the L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray and the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray are very different.

It has a mild refreshing scent in my opinion. The spray is very nice and fine and it held the longevity of my makeup. I did not find that it leave any huge droplets on my face. I really like this very much and although I find it is a bit pricey for the drugstore, I think it is worth a try if you like using setting sprays.

Price: US $13.99, CAD $14.96 for 3.4 oz – a bit pricy for the drugstore but depending on where you buy, the pricing may vary. Although it is a bit pricy, I would say it is a lot cheaper than some of the ones you find at Sephora, like the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray priced at CAD $36.00 for 4 oz.
