NATASHA DENONA MINI GLAM EYESHADOW PALETTE

So I want to give a quick little review of the Natasha Denona Mini Glam Eyeshadow Palette, her newest palette that was recently launched for Spring 2020. I’m a huge fan of Natasha Denona eyeshadow formulas and own a few of her palettes. These little palettes are known to be inconsistent in that some palettes are really good and some are really bad and that they just don’t line up with the formula of her regular line.

The packaging on this is similar to all of her other mini eyeshadow palettes and on the back, it tells you the names of the shadows. The Mini Glam Palette features matte, metallic and sparkly golden taupe shades and the overall vibe for me is more neutral than cool-toned as described. The Mini Glam Palette has the following shades:

  • Golden flesh (metallic gold)
  • Harlow (matte nude)
  • Anjo (metallic bronze),
  • Seed (matte brown)
  • Faye (metallic gold)
Swatches T-B: Faye, Seed, Anjo, Harlow, Golden Flesh

The Mini Glam Palette has colors that are all pigmented and easy to blend. I was really pleased with the quality of all the shades. Lasting power was excellent with little fallout from the mattes. I personally think the color scheme of this palette is truly beautiful and I like the finishes she chose. The shimmers swatches better than the mattes and are stunning but overall all the shades work beautifully on the eyes. The shades are quite consistent across the board. The shimmer shades work well with your fingers or a brush which is saying a lot about the payoff. The only shade that was a little tricky to use for me was Seed. It’s a really nice brown that wasn’t too prone to fallout but needs a bit of time to blend out.

The color story I’m sure is very dupable with other eyeshadows that you may already have on hand or even with some of Natasha Denona’s eyeshadows but it’s really nice to have all the shades in one in this cute little palette and it’s a great way to try out her formula if you haven’t already.

Something to note is that the value per gram of these little guys are horrible compare to her full-sized eye shadow palettes so that’s just something to keep in mind. Overall, it is a beautiful color story for an everyday look and for travelling. This is a good solid palette. Nothing really unique but the quality is there and I recommend if this is something, you’re interested in.

Have you tried this new palette? What did you think? I bought mine from Sephora.
