Shopping My Makeup Stash

Shopping My Makeup StashShopping My Makeup Stash-Rediscovered-Makeup-Shop-My-Stash-001

Every once in a while I like to go through my makeup collection and re-discover products I may have forgotten about or haven’t used in a while; so this week I’m shopping my makeup stash (while also incorporating some new beauty bits) to see what pretty little gems have been hidden. This should also help me refrain from making any new makeup purchases…come on, who am I kidding?!!!

Some lippies that I discovered were the Arbonne Smoothed Over Lipsticks* and the Essence Lip Liners. The Arbonne lipsticks are so incredibly smooth, creamy and hydrating with intensely rich colour and feels very comfortable on the lips. I especially love Rose a neutral muted pinky mauve shade, Lotus a peached brown shade and Guave – a coral orange shade, perfect for spring/summer time!. The Essence lip liners feel really comfortable on and not drying. They feel silky soft and blend effortlessly and stick around for about four hours. Two of my favourites are Wish Me A Rose – a lovely nude rosy pink, perfect for an everyday look, and Cute Pink – kinda similar to Wish Me A Rose but just a touch darker.

For the cheeks, Laura Mercier Highlight 01 Matte Radiance Baked Powder; I remember when I first got this little deluxe size, I instantly fell in love and used it so much I thought I was going to have to run out and get the full size right away but as you can see it is still going strong. It is a golden nude shade with an incredibly soft, silky, and smooth texture. It’s beautiful! Staying with highlighters, Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer gives a subtly shimmer for an all-over glow and it works great when mixed with foundation. It’s just a gorgeous luminizer that doesn’t appear too sparkly.

The last product is a blush, the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush; each blush contains three, complimenting, ultra-flattering shades that look amazing when blended or used alone for highlighting and the colors are just super pretty with a subtle shimmer. This is going to be perfect for spring/summer!

What products have you recently rediscovered and have fallen back in love with?
