Simple Cleansing Micellar Water

Simple-Cleansing-Micellar-Water-Review001For the past year, I have been using the Caudalie Cleansing Water, which I love because of its gentleness and hydrating properties; but since I’m coming down to the last bit, I thought I would give something else a whirl. I decided to try the Simple Cleansing Water. Simple recently introduced their new Cleansing Micellar Water, designed specifically to thoroughly cleanse and instantly hydrate the skin. At this stage, what is important to me is keeping my skin hydrated so with my combination/dry skin that sometimes get red and dehydrated, I can be very picky with my skincare. I love the idea of Micellar Water because it’s great for those times when you don’t feel like going through your regular cleansing and makeup removal routine.

Simple-Cleansing-Micellar-Water-Review002Unlike traditional facial cleansers, micellar cleansing waters don’t need to be rinsed off. The Cleansing Micellar Water is full of skin loving ingredient and is formulated with triple-purified water and multi-vitamins (contains vitamin C and vitamins B3 and B5 to help nourish and hydrate skin) and requires no rinsing. This is a gentle, fragrance free and effective cleansing water that provides instant hydration, and effectively removes makeup without my skin feeling stripped or dry afterwards. My complexion looks refreshed and my skin feels clean and soft without any trace of makeup residue and most importantly, it feels hydrated. If you have sensitive skin, this is the perfect product for you as it will not upset or irritate the skin. Like the bottle says, ‘kind to skin’. I love that this Cleansing Water is just — simple, yet effective.

How to use for best results:
1. Apply Micellar Water to cotton pad.
2. Wipe pad all around the face and closed eyes. Repeat if necessary (heavier makeup or waterproof mascaras will require more than one whirl).
3. No rinsing required. And you’re done!

This is a very affordable micellar cleansing water, retailing for CAD $9.99 and can be found at drugstores and online.
