Okay, why is it September already? Which means fall is just around the corner so get ready for cozy sweater weather, candles, pumpkin spice everything, and of course, new fall beauty trends.
It’s always fun changing up our makeup for the upcoming season and this season’s trends are all about having some fun with makeup. We are used to seeing more darker dramatic tones, but not this fall.
We rounded up the fall makeup/beauty looks we’ve been keeping a close eye on. From wearing color in different ways, like blush through the center of the face, graphic liner, and bold lips, all will be having a moment in fall. Here are fall 2022 beauty trends we’re most excited about.

Natural looking skin
While we all love a good full-coverage look on any given day, something that’s here to stay is the natural looking, no makeup makeup look. We have been seeing a lot of skin tints launches recently, from sheer to lightweight hydrating formulas.
As we get ready to approach the cooler temps, wearing more lighter hydrating formulas is great for the skin so reaching for lightweight formulas will keep the skin looking fresh. Also, with all the new trends out there, if you want to try some of them, having a natural fresh look is a good idea to make way for bolder eyes and lips. It’s also a great way to embrace our natural skin instead of hiding it under a pile of foundation.

Burnt Blush
I’m having a moment with burnt blush. I’ve been into this all summer and this trend isn’t going anywhere, so we will be seeing it this fall. This blush trend is everywhere right now. It’s like a faux-sunburn look and this look sits really high up on the cheekbone.
Warm up the cheeks with terracotta, brick, peachy tones or rusted brick to keep your cheeks glowing and get that fall makeup look. For burnt blush, you can also blend the blush across the bridge of your nose and under your eyes for the best burnt blush look.

Metallic Eyes
Turn it up a notch with metallic sparkles. We have been seeing flashes of silver, chrome, and gunmetal eyeshadow colors recently instead of the neutral tones we’re used to. There are several ways to wear this look… you can apply it on the inner corners for a subtle pop, combine hues for a smoky eye, or swipe one shade across the lid for a wash of color or you can use metallic eyeliners to get the same look.

Graphic Liner
Okay, so here’s your chance to experiment with cool graphic eyeliner looks for the fall season. Or if you just want to make a statement. There are so many fun shapes and colors to accessorize your eyes and I’m here for them. It’s such a playful way to add a little something to your looks.
With a great liquid liner or pencil, a little practice (hello Youtube & TikTok), some Q-tips, you can get any fall makeup look this season.

Red Hot Lipstick
Red lips are such an iconic look, especially during the fall season and we all know a classic red lip is timeless. Deep darker reds are my favorite type of red lip but you can find them in any shade and undertone and endless finishes.

Glazed Donut Nails
Pretty sure you’ve seen this all over Instagram and TikTok. The frosted shimmery, iridescent style is one you can’t go wrong with for its simplicity and elegance.
