I have been in search of the perfect nude lips, one that would complement my medium olive complexion very well. I already have pigmented lips so a lot of nude lip colors don’t complement my skin tone very well. So I was going through my lipsticks and lip liners collection (a very small collection) and to my surprise, realized that I had never paired these two together: Charlotte Tilbury’s Bitch Perfect Lipstick and Rimmel London Eastend Snob Lip Liner. Let me tell you, these are the perfect pair, especially if you are of medium to olive skin tone. Lately I’ve been wearing a lot more nude lips, not deathly nude but something that includes a bit of pink/peach in it as I find that it complements my skin tone best and I love anything peachy/pinky/corally, especially in the spring and summer. If you have more of an olive skin tone, then go for a color that’s slightly lighter or slightly darker than your skin, and choose a shade with beige, caramel or peach tones in it.
Charlotte Tilbury’s Bitch Perfect is a light-medium peachy rose nude with a very light hint of pink with warm undertones and a sheen finish. The lipstick contains UV protection, light diffusing pigments, a blend of waxes for easy application and is paraben free. If you’re looking to invest in a sophisticated lipstick for everyday wear, then this lip color is for you! The rose gold packaging of course is just stunning. Very luxe! I did a blog post on this that you can read here. And for the lip liner, Rimmel London Exaggerate Full Color Lip Liner in Eastend Snob compliments ‘Bitch Perfect’ perfectly and it has a beautiful creamy formula. It is soft and glides on easily with great pigmentation. It can also be worn alone. It doesn’t dry the lips and is very comfortable and what I also love is that it doesn’t settle into fine lines or show any imperfections whatsoever. It just blends beautifully underneath the lipstick.
This combo has got spring and summer written all over it! I am loving it! What are your favorite nude lip products?
