Charlotte Tilbury Collection – Bitch Perfect Kissing Lipstick

Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect Kissing Lipstick

So I have being hearing a lot of buzz about Charlotte Tilbury for a while now.  It is a UK based brand that finally came to the USA.  It is a luxury brand that performs like a luxury product and I think that the packing is also very luxurious.  I purchased a few things from the line because, well the packaging looks quite stunning, the colors are beautiful and I wanted to try the line out myself so I could provide my feedback on what I thought, and you know blogger duty call, so I had no choice.

Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick: This is a light-medium peachy coral nude with a very light hint of pink with warm undertones and a sheen finish.

The packaging is a beautiful classy rose gold tube monogrammed with the brands initial “CT”.

I find that the formula and consistency is quite creamy and thick.  It is comfortable and glides on nicely.  I did not find it was too hydrating but it was also not drying either and it lasted on my lips for a good long while even through eating and drinking.

On looking at the lipstick, I can see what looks like a bit of a shimmer that also reflects on the lips making it feels slightly grainy upon application; but it is not noticeable on the lips making it looking more satiny. It is quite creamy and opague going on; however, I recommend exfoliating your lips prior to wearing this lipstick as it can highlight any dry patches you have. However, I did find that after the lipstick wears off, a bit of the shimmer is left behind. The finish was a luminous light shine that wasn’t too glossy or too matte either.   It had a light sweet vanilla scent that I love, just like the MAC lipsticks.

This is by far the most perfect nude color for me. I really truly love the way the color looks against my skin tone because it doesn’t wash me out like a lot of other nudes do. This is also made suitable for all skin tones.

Have you checked out the Charlotte Tilbury’s line as yet? What are your favorites and recommendations? I chose the above color based on pictures and swatches I saw online and on Instagram and also colors that I thought would complement my skin tone which can be a hit or miss at times.

AVAILABILITY: Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics are now available in the U.S at Bergdorf Goodman and online at Net-a-porter, Nordstrom, Beautylish and CharlotteTilbury.com. I purchased mine from Beautylish and they had great shipping deals and the customer service is amazing!!!
