Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Review

too-faced-born-this-way-foundation-review-001too-faced-born-this-way-foundation-review-002This is the first Too Faced foundation I have ever tried. This comes in a frosted glass bottle with nice gold writing and it has a pump…Bonus! There are currently 18 shades available and 6 new shades are coming for Fall 2015! My current shade is Golden and I find it matches fairly well. For reference, I am an NC40 in MAC.

too-faced-born-this-way-foundation-review-007too-faced-born-this-way-foundation-review-005Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is a medium coverage foundation that feels lightweight on the skin, makes my skin looks flawless and doesn’t make my face looks dry! I love the hydration it provided and this is in part to it containing Coconut Water which helps delicately replenish skin’s moisture levels without overhydrating, Alpine Rose to brighten the skin’s appearance and promote elasticity, and Hyaluronic Acid which helps balance skin for a smoother, more youthful appearance. The texture is really beautiful and feels creamy and has a natural finish. My skin feels good and comfortable without feeling sticky; it blends right into the skin and didn’t cling to dry patches.

The times I’ve worn this foundation, I didn’t use any concealer at all because I wanted to see how well it covers dark circles and also how well it wore; so I just built it up under my eyes and around my nose. It covers very well and after about 5 hours of wear, the foundation didn’t separate, but I did notice some shininess in my T-zone area which is quite normal for me. Overall rating: 4.4/5

The Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is available online at Too Faced and at Sephora for US $39.00 / CAD $49.00.
