Topicals is tackling its next skin concern: acne scarring. The brand’s latest product launch is their new, Sealed Active Scar Primer, that was created to addresses acne scars.

A lightweight gel formula, Sealed is an active primer that visibly fills in skin indentations, pitted acne scars and large pores while effectively resurfacing the skin’s texture over time. Perfect for wearing underneath makeup or on a fresh face, Sealed’s cutting-edge, hybrid formula works as a blurring, silky primer while clinically-proven active ingredients reduce the appearance of scar depth over time. Here are some key benefits:

-Dual-Action Formula
-Safe for AM Use with Sunscreen
-Instantly Fills in Scars
-Visibly Smooths + Softens 3D Scars
-Hypoallergenic + Non-Comedogenic
-Helps Speed Up Scar Recovery

Most topicals are formulated for treating dark spots, discoloration, or shrinking blemishes, not concealing and treating the indented scars they leave behind. The new Sealed Active Scar Primer incorporates encapsulated retinol, onion bulb extract and a silicone base, aiming to not only fill acne scars and pores before makeup application but also to improve skin texture over time. According to the company, it fills acne scars prior to makeup application and improve skin texture over time.

In just 8 weeks, 100% noticed a decrease in the look of post-acne marks, 97% of participants noticed a decrease in the look of their indented acne scars and 100% noticed that their skin texture felt more smooth and even.

The formula is available direct-to-consumer and will be available at Sephora on August 18th, retailing for $34 USD for 1 fl oz. You can grab it now at Topicals’ website.
