Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Blush Palette-udxgwen-blush-palette002I was fortunate to win this beautiful Urban Decay/Gwen Stefani blush palette, through an Instagram giveaway from the beautiful mrslanglam and absolutely_makeup_obsessed. This palette has been getting rave reviews and over the past several days I’ve been testing this little beauty. Firstly, I adore the packaging; the blushes come in a gorgeous gold on white compact. I tend to favor more peach/coral toned blushes so I was excited to try the pink blushes in this palette.

Although this is described as a blush palette, the set includes 4 blushes, 1 highlighter and 1 bronzer. Cherry is described as a “light pink satin.” This is a pretty cool-toned pink. Easy is described as a “deep rose with gold shimmer”. This is another pretty one! Angel is described as a “champagne-nude shimmer.” It’s a light beige champagne shimmer with warm undertones. On my skin tone, this is a highlighter and not a blush. Hush is described as a “medium pink with gold shimmer.” Lo-Fi is described as a “soft bronze matte.” OC is described as a “soft pink with peach shift.” This has a warm undertone and is so pretty. These blushes feel soft, creamy and just nice to the touch. They are not chunky glittery or overly sparkly; applies beautifully and easily blendable. The texture of the formula doesn’t feel chalky or powdery at all. While all the colors are stunning, Easy and Hush are my favorites!

Overall, this is a welcomed addition to my makeup collection and I absolutely love this palette, plus the colors wore well anywhere between 7-8 hours before fading. Thanks again to Katie and ChanDra, my Instagram beauties! So excited to have this palette!
