I am one of those people who loves trying out new hair care products and I am always happy when I come across a brand that is silicone free, vegan and cruelty-free. I rotate frequently with hair care as there are so many great formulas out there but we all know the right hair products are what keep our hair healthy. I’ve never had the thickest hair, and have always struggled with my fine frizz-prone curls. And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed my hair getting thinner.

Since there are so many hair growth serums, supplements, and other products on the market, how do you know what products are best for you? There is a myriad of hair care products that make it difficult and overwhelming to choose the right one. Then I remembered trying VEGAMOUR’s products in the past, particularly their GRO Hair Serum and GRO Hair Foam and quite liking the results I had with them so I was excited to try these new to me products.

VEGAMOUR is an LA based hair wellness brand. They are 100% vegan, cruelty free, safe and uses effective products for achieving thicker, fuller hair. Their products are free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, gluten and artificial fragrance, and are a natural alternative to drugstore products out there that may have unwanted side effects. VEGAMOUR’s products are also clinically tested and hormone free.

Here are the 3 products I’ve been using recently: GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum, GRO Revitalizing Shampoo and GRO Revitalizing Conditioner.

A weekly clarifying serum, the GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum goes on before you wash your hair. This is a great way to give your scalp a weekly detox from all that scalp buildup, especially if you use dry shampoo, gel, or other styling products. It also helps to stop any flakes or dandruff. It is formulated with powerful vegan proteins and phytoactives to remove buildup, reduce irritation, create a healthy biome and protect from pollutants. It is supposed to remove scalp buildup for optimal scalp and hair wellness. Using once per week, I apply the serum directly to my scalp, leave on for 5-10 minutes and then follow up with the shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair and scalp looking and feeling completely revitalized and refresh.

Gro Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner utilize microencapsulated vegan b-SILK™ protein which physically bonds to hair follicles and remains attached to strands even after rinsing, making these nourishing formulas the world’s first chemical-free keratin hair treatment products. Wild harvested marula oil, organic murumuru butter and ximenia oil help to condition, hydrate and fight damaging free radicals without imparting pore-blocking residue.

There aren’t a lot of hair products that really impresses me and I am super picky when it comes to both my shampoo/conditioner. However, this shampoo leaves my hair shinier and looks fuller with less shedding. Consistent use is required to notice results. It has a nice citrus smell that I really like. After lathering it into my scalp, I like to let it sit for about 30-60 seconds before rinsing it out – it does make a difference! As for the conditioner, I love how silky and soft my hair feels after using it and how it leaves the frizz at bay. A little amount goes a long way too.

You may be wondering, did these make my hair look or even feel thicker? Well, everyone’s hair is completely unique, and hair thinning can be caused by a number of reasons such as stress, aging, lack of sleep, poor nutrition and hormones. I am so impressed with this line of products. My hair looks healthier and bouncier. Consistency is key to achieve and maintain growth/healthy results. No matter the reasons; if you’re struggling with hair loss or want to repair damaged hair, I recommend giving VEGAMOUR a try! As I’ve mentioned at the beginning of this post, I’ve always had fine hair and not a lot of it either so I’m happy I decided to start using VEGAMOUR again to gain more density and strengthen my hair. While it’s only been a short time since I’ve been using the VEGAMOUR GRO products, I plan to continue using for at least another 6 months to see what type of results I get.

If you’re interested in trying the brand, you can purchase from their website. They also have a GRO Foundation Kit that includes all three products I mentioned above. The kit is a great way to try their products and start your #vegamourchallenge.
