Burberry Autumn Winter 2015 Runway Palette
The Burberry Autumn/Winter 2015 Makeup Collection was inspired by the Burberry Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2015 “Patchwork, Pattern, and Prints” collection. The star piece of the collection is the limited edition Burberry Autumn/Winter 2015 Runway Palette (CAD $78.00), with the “Camouflage print” theme reflects the synergy between Burberry fashion and beauty.
Inspired by Burberry’s Autumn/Winter 2015 Runway show, this palette features a large camouflage print design in moody green, neutral, and black shades. It mirrors the Burberry Bucket Bag in camouflage suede, and the three eye colors can be applied as single shades or layered together to create a bohemian, smoky eye look. The effortlessly blendable, silky formula glides onto the lids for a velvety-soft finish.
Burberry Autumn/Winter 2015 Runway Palette is an eyeshadow palette using colours from the womenswear collection and displaying 3 shades in a camouflage pattern in off-white vanilla, a khaki green, and jet black with shimmer flecks. This admirable piece features very Fall-inspired shades and colors that is very wearable; perfect for everyday wear. The palette is not very pigmented and the powder is firmly packed in the compact, but one can definitely create gorgeous neutral and classic smoky eye looks with this palette. The black shadow is also great to use as an eyeliner. All the shades lean on the sheerer side, so a primer is a must for this. The texture of the shadows are all matte but can be worn with shimmer on top or would also look amazing over a Dior Mono Fusion eyeshadow or Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow, which will boost the pigments in the palette. There was minimal powder kicked up in the pan when swirling the brushes through the shades and I actually found that the shades blend easily.
I like this palette but honestly, this item is more of a collectible piece because it is very beautiful to look at the design.
