New Year’s Eve Makeup Look

NewYears-Eve-Makeup-Look-makeup tutorial-makeup-tips002New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, and I can’t believe 2015 is ending! If there’s any excuse to wear sparkle, shimmer, glitter and dark, sultry eye-makeup, it’s New Year’s Eve. Festive red lips or smoky eyes are guaranteed show-stopping looks; however, I want to do something a little different so I am going for glittery eyes with a nude lip! Here are my top products to help you achieve the perfect New Year’s Eve makeup look and to inspire and show you how to incorporate glitter in a subtle but beautiful way.

Flawless Base:
MAKE UP FOR EVER Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer (Smoothing) – This satin-finish primer evens the skin’s texture and will keep your makeup looking fresh and flawless.
NARS Sheer Glow in Barcelona, loves that this provides a nice medium coverage that is perfect for the cooler months.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand to highlight and brighten the under-eyes.
Hourglass Diffused Light Powder to set everything all the while eliminating shine and gives skin clarity.

Enhanced Eyes:
• Create the perfect glittery eye with this gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Quad in The Dolce Vita (I use all four shades to create this look).
Sephora Collection Long-Lasting 12HR Wear Eye Liner is the easiest way to create the perfect cat-eye.
• Add a coat of this lengthening mascara gives an instant boost to lashes with NARS Audacious Mascara.
• One of my favorite holiday looks is healthy, glowing skin and a serious lash! I love these ones from GlamUp Lashes* to boost eyes.
Anastasia Brow Wiz to carve out the perfect brow.

Perfect Finish:
Hourglass Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light to warm up the face – I am not contouring.
MAC Warm Soul Blush
Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop so that my highlight is on fleek.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Bitch Perfect – This long-wear, velvety nude lipstick will maintain that just-applied look. This pinky nude hue is the perfect neutral addition to a makeup look as it subtly enhances and plumps the lips.
Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray – This setting spray contains ingredients to keep your makeup in place for up to 16 hours.NewYears-Eve-Makeup-Look-makeup tutorial-makeup-tips001What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? What makeup are you going to wear on NYE?
