OMOROVICZA CUSHIONING DAY CREAM

OMOROVICZA CUSHIONING DAY CREAM

Omorovicza has been a long-time favorite for years. The line was founded in Budapest. Today I will be reviewing their newest Cushioning Day Cream. My apologies, this post is going up a little later than expected as I’ve been on vacation in Europe for the past few weeks! For those new to the brand, I thought it would be nice to share a few of my favorites before I get into the review!

If you’re a follower of mine on Instagram, you have seen me showcase many of their products and have even seen me show many empties from them. I love their Gentle Buffing Gelee which is a gentle, exfoliating daily cleanser to brighten and smooth and their Queen Cleanser which is like a cold cream cleanser and works well to clean the skin gently. Their Deep Cleansing Mask is a great purifying mud-mask. For moisturizers I’ve really enjoy the Queen Cream, it has a unique balm texture that glides onto the skin and doubles as a makeup primer. Their Rejuvenating Night Cream which is a restorative cream to rejuvenate and hydrate dry skin overnight. And finally, their serums and mists are amazing. Love the Queen of Hungary Mist for years, Magic Moisture Mist and Queen of Hungary Evening Mist, all gentle and hydrating on the skin.

OMOROVICZA CUSHIONING DAY CREAM

The new cushioning day cream is a moisturizing day cream to cushion and plump and it is such a luxurious treat. It has a lightweight feel, so my skin does not feel heavy when using it. It absorbs nicely into the skin, and has marine plankton extract. This moisturizer reinforces the barrier quality to protect from damage triggered by stress-induced cortisol and aggressions of urban living throughout the day. The fast-absorbing buttery cream instantly delivers deep hydration so you needn’t worry about midday dehydration or reapplication, since your moisture barrier is adequately equipped. I’ve been wearing this one at night more often than for day time because it’s so hydrating. It is of course a great moisturizer for everyday and works with my foundations. I also love that it’s smoothing, balancing and plumping. A little goes a long way.

The product description says it’s “suitable for all skin types. I’m on the drier side of the spectrum and it works amazingly for my dry dehydrated skin. It made my skin feel subtle, bouncy, hydrated and so soft. No breakouts either!

This is quite the splurge for a day cream but there’s nothing quite like it either! I would definitely repurchase this as Omorovicza never disappoints.

You can shop this cream here.
