So I have being hearing a lot of buzz about Charlotte Tilbury for a while now. It is a UK based brand that finally came to the USA. It is a luxury brand that performs like a luxury product and I think that the packing is also very luxurious. I purchased a few things from the line because, well the packaging looks quite stunning, the colors are beautiful and I wanted to try the line out myself so I could provide my feedback on what I thought, and you know blogger duty call, so I had no choice.
Cheek To Chic Swish & Pop Blush In Sex On Fire: This is a berry plummy-mauve natural tone blush. The outer shade is a muted deep rose mauve, while the inner shade is a brighter pink. It is very nice and neutral and great for the Fall.
The Charlotte Tilbury line is a high-quality luxurious line of blushers that comes in six beautiful shades with each compact hosting two shades of color. The packaging is a beautiful shiny Oxblood color with rose gold detailing.

Cheek To Chic blushes come with instructions on how to use the two-toned compact by the Swish & Pop method, but to be honest, I personally did not like that method. The product is call Swish & Pop so it is meant to swish around the outside and then the pop of color is on the inside. I find that it was just too much work when I am in a rush and I personally prefer the basic method of applying blush; which is just swirling my blush brush around the two colors and applying on the tops of my cheek. This way, my brush blends both colors together creating a beautiful flush. It is supposed to give a halo around your cheeks and then the pop of color right on the apples of your cheeks. You can use this however you like and what you feel is most comfortable and natural for you, but that is just how they are intended. I actually did not find that it wore that long on me, about six to seven hours on and faded noticeably leaving patched areas on my cheek.
The blush is incredible soft and smooth with a silky buttery texture with great pigmentation. It doesn’t apply heavy but has a nice silky consistency so it doesn’t look powdery on the cheeks. This is a very nice quality blush. It has a nice satin finish sheen and warm undertones to it that gives a beautiful soft glow.
Both shades had really good color payoff and doesn’t take a lot to build up and it looks like skin, and not like a product that is just sitting on the top of your skin.
I think that they are really nice blushes and you get quite a bit in the pan. I think they are quite worth the price. They all come with a nice size mirror, very creamy, silky and finely milled with a finish that blended beautifully against the skin
Have you checked out the Charlotte Tilbury’s line as yet? What are your favorites and recommendations? I chose the above color based on pictures and swatches I saw online and on Instagram and also colors that I thought would complement my skin tone which can be a hit or miss at times.
