Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight The Celestial Powder (US $44.00 & CAD $53.00) is a soft champagne, golden beige color with a frosty finish. On my NC40 olive skin it pulls rather cool-toned. The texture is soft, smooth and creamy and very finely milled. It blends out easily and beautifully into the skin for a nice luminous glow. The Celestial powder adds a whisper of color to your skin with a touch of shimmer and a soft glow without any hint of sparkles or glitters. It wore well, lasting all day on me (about 8-9 hours) and didn’t emphasize pores or any imperfections on the skin.

This powder adds a soft, healthy radiance to complexions. The rich, smooth buttery texture melts with skin for a flawless HD finish that never appears harsh or too reflective. Subtle blurring qualities smooth over skin as it applies. A light tap with a brush is all you need so it is better to use a very light hand. This can be applied to the forehead, cheeks, temples, chin or décolleté for an angelic glow.

The new compact is slim and comes with a mirror. It is sleek and pretty and it is very light in weight.

Overall I’m really impressed with this Celestial Powder. The only disappointment was the size (0.11 oz). It was so much smaller than I thought it would be especially for the price. However, it is such a beautiful highlighting powder.

Overall Rating: 4.8/5

You can find Kevyn Aucoin at a number of retailers. I bought mine from Sephora
