Happy New Year Loves! As we closed 2015, I want to share some fabulous beauty products of 2015 that really made an impact and the ones I truly reached for the most. These are the fabulous finds that really won me over last year so I am excited to share my love for all of them again! Once I find something that I like, I stick with it. Note that these didn’t all launched in 2015 (most of them did) but they’re things that I’ve come to love the last twelve months. I’m talking about some makeup, skincare and hair; so here are the stand outs…
Makeup:
1. Tom Ford Moodlight is the best highlighter ever! Tom Ford created this highlighting and illuminating powder duo to capture the two most flattering types of natural light on the skin. It is perfection!
2. Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop has a beautiful creamy consistency that feels silky soft to the touch and makes your face come alive and give you the most unbelievable glow, it is incredible.
3. Charlotte Tilbury ‘Filmstar Bronze & Glow’ Face Sculpt & Highlight – The highlighter is a finely milled champagne shade that gives a stunning highlight without looking at all glittery. I love the sculpting powder which comes in a tan-enhancing shade that doesn’t look orange or dirty. A light swipe across the cheekbones instantly makes the face look more defined. Love this!
4. Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette – Full of rose gold pigments, it’s sure to have you blushing.
5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Eye Shadow Palette is such a beautiful palette that is pigmented and so blendable. The quality is great and the shades are beautiful.
6. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer is literally my most used and favorite bronzer. I just love the bronzer and highlight combination that gives the perfect illuminating bronze effect.
7. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation – The unique formula covers every imperfection without feeling heavy. It doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything! It even has coconut water to keep your skin moisturized.
8. Amore Pacific Color Control Cushion Compact in Tan Gold* – This invention from Korea isn’t really a foundation, and it’s not really a compact, it’s a light skin-smoothing emulsion that gives you a dewy, even complexion that “covers without covering up” to fake a flawless complexion.
9. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand/Medium were the concealers I reached for the most because of the natural lightweight finish it gives. It does a great job of brightening and concealing dark circles without looking cakey and I love the creamy consistency. And an honourable mentioned is Rodial Airbrush Concealer* which is a new discovery at the end of 2015 but have quickly fallen in love. Review coming soon.
10. Make Up For Ever Skin Equalizers – This multi-purpose primer is the perfect prep for your foundation routine. It’s formulated to balance the skin’s texture and tone for a smoother finish while also hydrating and firming the skin. Review coming soon.
11. Too Faced Love Flush Blush – These Too Faced blushes are fabulous! From the cute heart packaging to just how beautiful they look in the pan as they are on the cheeks, it provides the complexion with the most stunning and luminous soft-focus flush of colour. I have the shade Baby Love which is described as a soft dusty nude with fine gold sparkle, which pairs perfectly with almost every lip colour.
12. Clinique Pansy Pop Cheek Pop Blush, these Clinique blushes are incredible. They give such a perfect, natural glow that is luminous and radiant, but nothing over the top. My favorite is Pansy Pop.
13. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara – The curved humongous brush coats every single lash while simultaneously lifting. The result: perfect lashes. No falsies needed!
14. Anastasia Brow Wiz – With a fine tip, it’s perfect for creating individual brow hairs and filling in those sparse areas. For fresh, natural-looking eyebrows, I now understand the hype surrounding this cult eyebrow product.
15. Burberry Kisses Lipstick – I love this hydrating, effortlessly buildable lipstick that has a beautiful satin finish.
16. Marc Jacobs Hi-Shine Enamored Lip Glosses are the best lip glosses ever!
Skincare:
17. Caudalie Glycolic Peel Mask – This gives dull complexion a boost of radiance in just ten minutes.
18. Bioderma Micelle Solution* – Excellent at cleaning face makeup and I found it such a joy to use as it is so gentle and calming on the skin.
19. Fresh Seaberry Skin Nutrition Booster – I’ve been on a major obsession with oils. What I love about this sea berry skin oil is that it amplifies your existing products.
Haircare:
20. Drybar Velvet Hammer Hydrating Control Cream – A rich cream that moisturizes, smooths, and adds shine and the smell is lovely. I will be doing a full review on this shortly.
