As we get into the colder season, I’ve been trying and gravitating towards slightly darker colors and this color was too beautiful to pass up. According to YSL, these lipsticks exude ultimate feminine strength and edgy style and are supposed to give luxurious, rich color with intense hydration and antioxidant care in just one stroke. It contains ingredients such as rosemary and carrot extract for moisturizing and conditioning the lips and yeast extract for supporting natural cell turnover and provides medium to full coverage. The lipstick comes in a luxurious gold case with black YSL logo embossed.
Yves Saint Laurent Rose Stiletto Lipstick is described as a ‘rich berry rose’ with neutral undertone and a satin finish. The consistency was creamy, light-medium in weight, and glided on smoothly without tugging. The lipstick wore comfortably and lasted for four to five hours on me with light hydration and feels really comfortable on the lips. It compliments my skin tone very nicely and is a great color to wear in the fall and also as a perfect everyday shade that you can take from daytime to an evening out. I even included this shade in my fall lipstick favorites. One swipe provides amazing opaque coverage. The YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick is one of the nicest lipstick I’ve worn and it smells like roses.
